We are happy to share that Pastili has officially become a registered social enterprise.
For us, this is more than a formal recognition. It reflects something that has always been part of who we are as a company — the belief that business should create value not only through products, but also through people, responsibility, and long-term positive impact.
Pastili is a Bulgarian company based in Gabrovo, focused on producing high-quality honey-based products with high added value. We work entirely with Bulgarian raw materials sourced from local beekeepers and turn them into products that reach customers across the US, Japan, the EU, the UK, and the Middle East. Alongside our own brands, we also manufacture private label products for globally recognized partners.
At the same time, we have always believed that growth should go hand in hand with care for people. In 2025, we successfully implemented a project for an adapted working environment, improving working conditions for our team. We continue to invest in innovation, product development, and quality, while also looking for meaningful ways to contribute to the social economy.
Becoming a social enterprise is an important next step in that journey. It supports our long-term vision to create products carrying the label “Product of a Social Enterprise” and to make our contribution to social value even more visible. Over the years, we have also taken part in charitable initiatives and international trade missions showcasing Bulgarian products on global stages, including Japan Expo 2025.
We are proud of this recognition and grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey — our team, partners, customers, and supporters.
This is another step forward for Pastili, and we are excited about what comes next.
